While she argue, based on her field research, that Jakarta is facing a clear and immediate threat as an increasing number of convicts are reoffending and get involved in terrorist plots, Miss Ashar confirms that the Indonesian government and its agencies in charge should stop to blame each other’s and instead assess the effectiveness of deradicalization and disengagement programmes, as the country and the region might see an increasing terrorist mobility in the near future.
