On November 7, our research analyst, M. Fauzan Malufti, participated in a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) organised by the National Resilience Institute (Lemhannas RI) to address the geopolitical outlook for 2024. M. Malufti pointed out the potential risks, impacts, and mitigations relevant to Indonesia. He also stressed how crucial it is for Jakarta to accelerate its military modernisation programme and enhance its bilateral and multilateral security cooperation with regional partners, including through activities such as information sharing and joint air and naval patrols.
