Research Analyst – Defence
As part of your internship as a Research Analyst – Defence, you will contribute to daily and weekly reports on the most recent defence issues by conducting in-depth research and analysis. You will collaborate with experienced analysts, provide insights for clients, and participate in research projects on defence issues. This role requires deep understanding and background in defence sector (including equipment), strong analytical skills, fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, attention to detail, and adaptability in fast-paced environment.

Job requirements
- Interest and expertise in defence matters, with a focus in industry and technical aspects of military equipment
- Educational background in defence is desirable
- Fluency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Micro and macro analysis skills
- Solid understanding of research methodologies and techniques.
- Critical thinking, able to think critically and objectively.
- High agility and adaptability in a fast-paced working environment, dynamic teams.
- A strong understanding of research ethics and the responsibility to conduct research with integrity.
- Attention to detail, high level of attention to detail is necessary to ensure accuracy in research findings and to avoid errors in data interpretation.
- Knowledge and skills in working with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Access to personal laptop/notebook is required
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
Job Description
- Participate in daily and weekly deliverable on defence issues
- Participate in reports and provide analysis/insights on Indonesian defence industry, cooperation, and doctrine matters
- Participate in research projects
- Provide analysis and key takeaways on current defence issues for our clients
